Ready to visit? Here are some helpful bits of info
What should I wear?
Come as you are: jeans, boots, whatever's comfortable. You'll see everything from work clothes to Sunday best, and nobody's paying attention to what you're wearing but you.
Will I be put on the spot?
Never. We won't ask you to stand up, raise your hand, or introduce yourself to the room. Just come, sit, and take it all in at your own pace.
What about my kids?
We believe kids belong in church, not off to the side of it. From the very beginning, God has called whole families into His story, so we keep children right in the service with their parents rather than sending them somewhere else for "their own" version of church. Busy bags and a comfy corner in back are always available if little ones need room to wiggle. If you'd rather have a quiet space for a baby, we also keep a nursery ready with a changing station and plenty to keep them busy, whatever works best for your family.
What do you believe, and what's your background?
We're a simple, non-denominational, Bible-believing church , meeting in a building that's held worship here in Eureka since 1868. It really comes down to Jesus, the Bible, and real life.
Do I have to be a member, or even a Christian, to come?
Not at all. Come exactly as you are, whether you've never opened a Bible or you've been in church your whole life. Everyone's welcome, no strings attached.
Will you ask me for money?
No. There's an offering plate in the back, but as a guest you're never expected to give anything, just come and see what it's about.
